TWO SPECIAL PLACES FOR YOUR SUMMER 2012 IN FLORENCE

Having fun in Florence during this hot summer it's not difficult. There are lots of open spaces where you can enjoy your evening and night, meet people, perhaps Italians and listen to good music, or assist at a ballet show.

Today I'll tell you about two different places frequented by Florentine citizens in summer. If you already read the post about the nightlife in Florence (click here to read it), you know that Santa Croce quarter is the main place of movida in Florence. Well, just behind Santa Croce are the coolest places to pass your summer night.

LE MURATE

It's a book cafè, it's an open air cinema, it's an exibition center, it's a square inside a old monastery (and in '80s was a kind of fashion prison) where you can sit at the tables, listen to good music and have a drink in a soft atmosphere.

LAS PALMAS

A low cost aperitif, an open air restaurant where you can eat seafood, fish and pizza, drink a beer or a Chianti wine, a stage and a happy and friendly atmosphere. Everyday concerts: Jazz, classical music, and ballet show. A place for students, families and kids.
